DIR Floortime is a relationship-based therapy for neurodiverse children. This is the method to make a difference in the fundamentals of autism, not just behaviors. We help the child build skills such as regulating his/her state, attending to others, engaging with others, connecting with others, and problem-solving in various communicative opportunities. The goals are set based on the child's developmental level and build on their strengths. We engage children through the activities that they enjoy. And foster their inner drive to "want to be with someone," "want to play with someone, " and "want to tell something to someone." The therapist will provide the Floortime therapy 1 to 3 times a week for your child and provide coaching, consulting, and support for your family to implement the floortime at home on an everyday basis.

We are here to help
Do you want speech and language therapy services for your child? Do you wonder if your child is a late talker, has autism, or has any speech, language, and social/emotional delay? With or without diagnosis, we will provide the support your child and your family need. We provide therapy in variety of settings, including: the natural environment, private preschools, and at home so that your child can receive the therapy at his/her most comfortable environment and you can save your drive to and from the therapy locations.
DIR Floortime
DIRFloortime® is a relationship-based therapy program for children with autism and other developmental delay. By doing the DIRFloortime® , we can work on the fundamentals of autism such as regulating his/her state, attending, and engaging, connecting, which builds a strong foundation for socio-emotional, speech-language, and cognitive skill development.
In conjunction with DIRFloortime® , the affect-based speech and language therapy will be provided to work on social engagement, imitation, and receptive/expressive language. We focus on fostering the child’s inner drive of “I WANT TO.” “Want to be with someone, ” “want to play with someone, ” and “want to tell something to someone.”
Speech Delay
Children need to develop several skills before learning to talk. If the child’s speech and language is delayed, we need to find out exactly which skills are developing or missing and work on those in the systematic way. We can’t start by working on talking by “teaching words” to a child who is not even imitating gestures! We have to meet where the child is developmentally and work our way up from there. A certified Speech language pathologist will assess your child and find out the child’s level of development. Then we will work directly with your child in therapy and give you the child-specific strategies to support his/her speech language development at home.
Feeding Therapy
Due to Covid-19 pandemic, we are currently conducting feeding therapy by consultation and observation.
